As the WILLOW project enters its final stage, the consortium has released its second project video, offering an overview of the main achievements and innovations developed throughout the initiative.
The video combines interviews with project partners and real footage from project activities, highlighting how WILLOW is contributing to the advancement of offshore wind farm monitoring, maintenance and lifetime management.
Through interviews with consortium partners, the video showcases several of WILLOW’s key achievements, including drone-based inspections for structural health monitoring, improved approaches to corrosion and fatigue assessment, underwater noise monitoring, and advanced data-driven methods for predictive maintenance and lifetime estimation of offshore wind assets. It also highlights how digitalisation and data integration are helping optimise asset performance and support more reliable offshore wind operations.
With insights from partners across the consortium, the video provides a comprehensive overview of how WILLOW’s multidisciplinary approach is helping to address some of the key challenges faced by the offshore wind sector.
