Day 2 of Wind Energy Technology Summit – State-of-the-art in offshore wind structural integrity management
Following three successful summits in the past years, Sirris and its partners OWI-Lab, OCAS and the Agoria Energy Technology Club organized the Wind Energy Technology Summit for the fourth time. It was a dynamic two-day exploration in Ghent, featuring a lineup of Belgian and international experts who brought the latest technology and market developments to light.
In this context, and during the second day focuses on “State-of-the-art in offshore wind structural integrity management”, Christof Devriendt from VUB |OWI-Lab, presented the latest results of WILLOW project in a slot called “Structural integrity impact factors explained: the effects of soil-structure interaction and wind farm and turbine control on the structural lifetime of foundations and towers.”
