On November 5, we successfully hosted our second joint workshop in collaboration with our sister projects — SUDOCO, IconicWind, TWAIN Project, and WILLOW Project EU — all funded under the same European Commission call. The event served as a valuable platform to share progress, exchange knowledge, and explore new opportunities for collaboration in the field of integrated wind farm control.
WILLOW was represented by Ainhoa Cortes from CEIT, who presented an innovative ultrasound-based method for evaluating pitting corrosion and coating degradation in offshore wind farms. This approach aims to improve maintenance strategies and enhance the long-term reliability of offshore structures.
